Joel serves as Foundation Director for the Bethel Lutheran Foundation, leading fundraising and development efforts that advance Bethel’s mission of providing compassionate, faith-based care to Williston and the surrounding region. Joel is currently spearheading the “A New Place to Call Home” campaign. This campaign is a critical initiative to raise funds for a much-needed nursing home facility that will offer residents dignity, comfort, and quality care for generations to come.

In addition to fundraising, Joel oversees the Foundation’s property portfolio, managing staff to ensure assets are well-maintained and aligned with long-term strategic goals.

A Williston resident since 2011, Joel is deeply committed to the community’s well-being. In his free time, he enjoys reading epic fantasy novels, refereeing and watching soccer, staying active through exercise, playing card and board games, and traveling with his wife.
